Ugh, I know how you feel. I do wish there was more character development, but I can’t be too mad at them about it, especially since I’ve heard that the creators didn’t know they were going to be able to make a second season until after they’d finished the season finale. Amon’s backstory though… my heart. It was so much better than I expected it to be, even though they didn’t explain how exactly he was able to take away people’s bending with his bloodbending. That aside, anyone who says this is a kid’s show just needs to watch that episode to be proven wrong. IT’S SO GOOD. The ending scene just… with all the former Avatars and Aang’s line about change… I almost exploded in tears.
