Not for very long, what with the health conditions that inevitably form when you’re that obese.
And your point is what? You don’t give a shit about their health. I’m sick of fucking assholes with their faux-health concerns and bullshit. This is two women exploring their sexuality and knowing that they’re fucking sexy as all hell. If you can’t handle that then you need to shut the fuck up and get the hell out of the conversation. You need to stop pretending like you gave a damn when all you really care to do is shame them because you can’t handle their sexiness.
It really annoys me when people are like “it’s not healthy!” Because:
A. you don’t actually give a shit. You don’t seriously think that no one knows obesity can be dangerous and you’re informing the public about this risk. You just think they’re ewwy and want to use science to justify your prejudice.
B. Even if it is true that they’re less healthy/”going to die early” (which it’s not in all cases) isn’t it incredibly rude to insult someone for having a disease/disability? Like, if someone reblogged a picture of a girl with cancer you certainly wouldn’t be going “Ewww, way to glamorize cancer….you know she’s going to die any day now, right? Not healthy.” And no, the difference is not that being fat is something you choose. Atleast half the time it has more to do with genes than with what you eat.Basically, if someone wants to take a picture in lingerie, they fucking can. The end. It doesn’t matter what their body looks like.
I’m probably going to get shit for this but, hey, I’m allowed an opinion too. Now, I am a big lady myself, and I think it’s perfectly fine to be fat, sexy, confident, and sexually inclined. But frankly, I don’t believe anyone who says that you can be healthy and obese. It’s pretty much a guarantee, except in very rare cases, that someone who is obese is not healthy. And honestly I find it rather rude that people are telling others that they “don’t genuinely care” about a person’s health, when they have no way of knowing whether they do or don’t. It is true that sometimes, obesity is genetic and not something that can be helped: but more often than not, it is fully preventable. I am obese myself, and I know that this is something I could change if I had the motivation and discipline to do so. I just really don’t think anybody should be shamed for having an opinion.
Big ladies, continue to be big and sexy. It is your life, and you are allowed to live it how you’d like. But, I think it is important to be aware that obesity is a serious health concern. What you choose to do with that knowledge is up to you, but you should rock your body no matter how big or small it is.
